There is more to weight loss besides food and exercise. There is an emotional side that needs to be addressed. Being a professional in the field of nutrition, a professor of exercise science, health and fitness instructor for over 25 years, has given me the knowledge that everybody is unique and individual.

Weight loss is a destination that begins with food and exercise but it goes much deeper than this. I know first hand how important it is to explore and heal the emotional aspect of weight loss. For many years I was healing my addiction to food and weight loss.

Being a college student I was immersed in a culture of weight loss being only food and exercise. I am much more aware that there is way more to weight loss besides food and exercise. I am now spending my time helping those who have tried every diet full of starvation and deprivation methods. Please know that we must begin to address the deeper issue within.

We must address the emotions that we have placed on the food that we consume, and why and where we consume the food that may lead to a state of more weight than our body needs.

So before you embark on a weight loss journey, know that there is more to weight loss besides food and exercise.
